该厂位于广西壮族歌仙刘三姐的故乡——宜州市城中，四面临街，交通方便。生产的主要产品是各种型号柴油机和进排气门。产品经过国家级技术鉴定部门审验合格，进排气门和活塞肖产品荣获广西区“优质产品”奖。柴油机和内燃机配件产品在市场上很有竞争力，畅销全国各地和东南亚一些国家和地区。2000年以来，该厂把配件生产线和柴油机生产线分别租赁承包给外地老板和本厂职工经营。配件生产经营年收入150万元，利税10万元，实现利润2万元；柴油机生产年收入1800万元，利税30万元，实现利润6万元。

Established in 1951, Guangxi Yizhou Gas Engine Fittings Factory is a State-owned and one of the key enterprises in mechanic manufacturing industry of Guangxi Province, the appointed manufacturer specializing in diesel engines and major fittings of internal-combustion engines. The factory is situated in the center of Yizhou, the hometown of Liu Sanjie, the well-known ancient folk song singer of Zhuang Nationality in Guangxi, with convenient transportation conditions. The main products are diesel engines and valves, which are verified accredited by National technical supervision departments. Valves and piston bolt products has ever won the horror of “High Quality Product” of Guangxi Province. Diesel engines and valves are popular in domestic market and that of countries and regions in Southeast Asia. Since 2000, the factory has subcontracted the fitting and diesel engines production line to staff members and outer runners. Annually the fittings manufacture brings in sales volume of 1.5 million yuan, profits including tax of 100 thousand yuan and net profit of 20 thousand yuan; the annual sales volume of diesel engines is 18 million yuan, profits including tax of 300 thousand yuan and net profit of 60 thousand yuan.
